Knowing that every person has a different taste, way of working and individual needs, we learnt to apply various operating systems onto one network. Thereby, the users are allowed to share common working space (documents, printers, e-mails, time management, economical software and many others). At the same time, they can use system which they are accustomed to and which is convenient for them.
Microsoft Windows
Like the long-standing partner of Microsoft company we offer complete portfolio of this producer's operating systems. You can find Microsoft's desktop operating systems in 90% of desktops in the world. A wide array of applications is available for these stable systems.
- Windows XP – traditional desktop system, continuously used by big businesses mostly in corporate environment
- Windows Vista – current desktop system, the first fully 64-bit operating system by Microsoft
- Windows 7 – upcoming system combining the best features of Vista and XP systems
The server version of Windows system is instrumental to service and maintenance of networks that range from 5 clients up to thousand of workstations. It offers an option of remote working in network through Terminal services. Centralized maintenance of Windows stations, data and printers sharing and running of systems such as Exchange or SQL server is also available.
- Microsoft Windows 2003 Server R2 – reliable server system serving as the basis for BackOffice servers – SQL server, Exchange, IIS etc.
- Microsoft Windows 2008 Server – current version of Microsoft server is an efficient and stable base for business networks
- Microsoft SB Server 2008 – the cost-effective version containing Exchange and SQL server for small businesses
Mac OS X
An excellent operating system by Apple company designed for Mac computer. Intuitive graphic interface, brilliant performance, plenty of professional applications. The fastest evolving desktop operating system in last two years! Design and workmanship of Mac computers and notebooks is enchanting, the performance is pleasing. The server version is also available.
LINUX
The operating system LINUX used to be the the domain of students and connoisseurs, but that was a long time ago. Today it runs on most of the Internet data streaming servers or on Google search engine farms. Highly stable and scalable system substitutes classic UNIX systems as well as Windows or Novell servers. A vast bulk of server and desktop applications provided by producers as part of their distributions is available. For desktop we suggest:
- Fedora – the distribution shielded by RedHat; you can find software from this distribution in the next version of RedHat's Enterprise server
- Ubuntu – the distribution built on Debian, currently probably the most popular desktop LINUX
- OpenSuSE – the desktop version of LINUX with up-to-date technologies, the only desktop edition for which the producer's support can be bought
- Gentoo – a delicacy for lovers of tuning, compilation and squeezing performance from hardware
- Mandriva – the distribution originally from France, often applied in institutions of EU
LINUX feels at home in server environment. The absolute majority of positions in Top 500 of the most efficient systems of the world chart belongs to it. But it can also do a very good job on a small or middle common business server. It offers great integration with Windows stations and an excellent stability and performance.
- RedHat Enterprise Server – the world best selling version of LINUX server. Great price / performance ratio, files and printers sharing, groupware server, optimization for file system services and SQL databases. Seven years producer's warranty for software maintenance.
- CentOS – the community edition of the above, fully functional.
- Debian – the traditional distribution used mainly by conservative administrators.
- Novell Open Enterprise Server – an excellent combination of LINUX technologies, NetWare and Windows systems, provided and guaranteed by the legendary producer of server operating systems.
